ed@ed is the latest incarnation in a series of gas-phase electron diffraction (GED) data refinement programs that have been developed by the Edinburgh University GED group.

New developments in ed@ed:

  • A graphical interface making the data reduction and refinement process much simpler and more efficient.
  • The program only uses plain text and XML files. Easier for portability between versions and allows for efficient compression of data.
  • Model is taken from a dynamic linking library. No need to recompile the whole program each time the model is changed.
